Why is Vitix gel in the Vitiligoshop?
Vitix gel is specifically designed to support skin repigmentation by improving the balance of free radicals in skin cells. Unlike other treatments available online, Vitix gel is based on solid research and is produced by the highly renowned French dermatology laboratory ACM. Clinical studies have shown that, with regular use of Vitix gel in combination with phototherapy or sun exposure, this product can restore normal melanin levels and halt—or even completely prevent—further pigment loss.
How does the Vitix gel work?
Vitix gel works by creating a favourable environment for the melanocyte cells that produce skin colour. By normalising the level of hydrogen peroxide in the skin, Vitix increases the likelihood of achieving sufficient repigmentation by 50%. The return of pigment to white areas may occur uniformly or as small, round dots where melanocytes have not been completely lost from the depigmented area. Initial results, when used in combination with phototherapy or sunlight, can be observed between the second and fourth months of use.
Main ingredient:
EXTRAMEL® – a patented plant-derived ingredient that combines two highly active enzymes. It is rich in antioxidants, helps to restore the physiological balance of free radicals in epidermal cells, increases the pro-oxidative ability of epidermal and melanocyte cells, and decreases the concentration of hydrogen peroxide.
Directions for use:
Apply a suitable amount of gel (4 mg per cm²) to thoroughly cleansed, dry skin – including the surrounding areas – both in the morning and in the evening. Massage the gel completely into the skin using circular motions with your fingertips. Use sufficient pressure and warmth to ensure optimal release and absorption of the active enzymes into the skin. When applied correctly, the initial sensation of "fine sand" will disappear after approximately 40 seconds. Following the morning application, it is advisable to expose the treated area to sunlight, without sunscreen or make-up, for at least 0.5–1 hour daily. Use ViTiX® twice daily on the affected areas for a period of 3 to 6 months.
