Why is Vitipro Gel featured in the Vitiligo Shop?
- Created as a stronger version of Vitistop Gel.
- Suitable for experienced users of Vitistop Gel continuing their treatment.
Important Information
- The strongest product on the market.
- High efficacy and rapid onset of repigmentation.
Important Notice!
Vitipro Gel increases skin sensitivity to sunlight due to its concentration of psoralens.
- When combining Vitipro Gel with sunlight exposure exceeding 10 minutes, skin may burn.
- Significantly shortens the irradiation time during UVB phototherapy. After using Vitipro Gel, the irradiation time must be halved.
Instructions for Use
Apply only on vitiligo areas before going to bed. Use a cream with a protective factor during sunny days.
Do not combine Vitipro Gel with direct sunlight.
Vitipro Gel is typically used alongside light therapy. During the day, UVB lamp irradiation or sunbathing is required. Unlike Vitistop Gel, Vitipro Gel is applied only at night before going to bed. Light (UVB lamp or sunlight) is essential for repigmenting vitiligo.
Example (Vitipro Gel and UVB Lamp)
Before going to bed, apply a thin layer of Vitipro Gel to the affected areas. The next day, irradiate the areas with a UVB lamp following the provided instructions. Apply Vitipro Gel every night before going to bed. Use the UVB lamp three times a week initially, reducing to twice a week after three months. The irradiation time varies but should result in subtle redness of the vitiligo that lasts into the next day. If redness does not occur, increase the irradiation time by 20 seconds.
Our Advice:
To maximise treatment effects, use Vitistop Gel 30 minutes before UVB lamp irradiation.
Example (Vitipro Gel and Sun)
Before going to bed, apply a thin layer of Vitipro Gel to the affected areas. The next day, expose the areas to sunlight for 5 minutes. If redness does not occur the following day, extend sun exposure by another 5 minutes.
The expected outcome is subtle redness of the vitiligo, which may persist into the next day.
Exact sun exposure time cannot be determined as sunlight intensity varies throughout the year, and individual skin sensitivity differs.
If staying in the sun longer, use a cream with SPF 30 or higher.
